BlackBerry has officially launched a premium smartphone in the Indian market - the Blackberry Porsche Design P’9881, which is co-branded with Porsche Design. The device is not very exclusive when it comes to specifications, as it is just an redesigned version of the BlackBerry Bold 9900.
The Blackberry Porsche Design P’9881 is a device powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and includes 768MB of RAM. It runs BlackBerry OS 7.0, has a 2.8-inch display with 286ppi and a portrait BlackBerry keypad. The device includes a 5 megapixel camera at the back which supports 720p video recording, it has 8GB of built-in storage and expandable storage up to 32GB using a microSD card.
The device is officially priced at Rs. 1,39,990 in the Indian market, and apart from the unique design and its premium co-branding the device is supposedly constructed from high grade materials which gives it the rich feel, desired by those who would be interested in purchasing this device.
